This highly efficient testing solution, specifically designed for medium and large diesel engines (used in heavy trucks, construction machinery, and large generator sets), features a 355kW AC dynamometer equipped with an imported high-power four-quadrant variable-frequency inverter controller. This allows for both forward loading and reverse drag, with tested power transmission back to the grid exceeding 85% efficiency. Core to the XLE-1000 measurement and control system, it supports automated execution of national standard test cycles or customized test procedures, integrates a high-power transient fuel consumption meter, and uses a data acquisition module to capture key parameters such as torque and speed, enabling storage, analysis, and standardized report generation, encompassing the entire testing process.

1) Electric dynamometer: Seelong AC electric dynamometer, equipped with German HBM T40B torque flange, forced air cooling, supports stable operation from 0-3800rpm .

 

2) Variable Frequency Inverter System: An ABB ACS880 series inverter controls the electric dynamometer, enabling forward loading and reverse powering of the engine. The electrical energy generated by the dynamometer is fed directly back to the grid via the variable frequency inverter system .

 

3) XLE-1000 measurement and control system: used for overall control of the test bench; the system communicates with the variable frequency inverter system via a bus to complete the setting and control of various working conditions of the test bench; it uses the bus to receive various parameters collected, while integrating external auxiliary equipment to achieve centralized communication and control; the entire test process can be completed under automatic control.

 

4) Data acquisition system: It includes temperature, pressure and other sensors and supporting acquisition modules. Its function is to collect temperature, pressure and other parameters of each engine component, and then transmit the collected data to the measurement and control system through the data interface, so as to realize real-time display, recording and processing of data .

 

5)Auxiliary equipment: coolant constant temperature device (±1℃), portable transient fuel consumption meter (10Hz), small piston leakage meter and air flow meter.
